Dan neeeeeeew Dan Fasch- Principal Physiotherapist

Dan is a graduate of the University of Sydney and University of Wollongong. He is currently completing his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy through La Trobe University. He is the Director of Matrix Physiotherapy and has extensive experience in sports and orthopaedic physiotherapy. He has a particular interest in collision sports, having worked with West Harbour Pirates RLFC, Queanbeyan Tigers AFL, Eastlake AFL and Tongan Defence RU.He has recently been appointed Team Physiotherapist to the University of Canberra Brumbies in the Super Rugby Competition.

tobyToby Conroy- Physiotherapist

Toby graduated with an Exercise and Sports Science degree from Deakin University in Melbourne. He also completed a Graduate Diploma of Education at Monash University and then spent time working as a physical education teacher in primary and secondary schools in Melbourne. Toby completed the Master of Physiotherapy course at the University of Canberra to further pursue his interest in sports injuries, fitness and rehabilitation. He has an avid interest in sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation of sports injuries. He has a passion for many sports particularly AFL. He has played AFL for the Queanbeyan Tigers in the NEAFL. He has done physiotherapy sports coverage for the Tigers in the NEAFL and AFL Canberra competitions, the Queanbeyan Kangaroos in the Canberra Raiders Cup and the Combined States U20 Rugby Union team at the National Championships. Other sports of interest include Basketball, Running and Golf. He has also completed Level 1 and Level 2 sports physiotherapy, level 1 neuromuscular dry needling and level 1-2 kinesio taping course.

IMG_3143 Jonathon Carey-Physiotherapist

Jonathon is a graduate of The University of Canberra where he completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Sports science and a Master of Physiotherapy. Prior to joining Matrix in 2015 he worked at The Canberra Hospital in Orthopaedics and Emergency. Jonathon has been a part of the medical support team with the Queanbeyan Whites Rugby Union Club. His professional interests include trauma and orthopaedic rehabilitation, sports and musculoskeletal injury recovery and hand therapy. Jonathon has completed the Fundamentals of Hand Therapy course through the Australian Hand Therapy Association, the Rocktape Kinesiology and Power Taping course and was included in the team award for Research Excellence from the 2013 ACT Allied Health Awards.

alex new 2Alex Trevarthen- Physiotherapist

Alex graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy from Cardiff University in the UK in 2008. This is his second stint living in Australia, previously spending time living in Canberra whilst playing First Grade Cricket for ANU. Alex has spent the majority of the last 4 years working within the fitness industry as a qualified Personal Trainer, Crossfit and Olympic Weightlifting coach. In the year prior to returning to Australia Alex was a Physiotherapist at Plymouth Albion RFC, a professional Rugby Union Club in his hometown. Alex’s professional interests include improving athletic performance, sports injuries and he has completed the Dry Needling Plus Level 1 course. Alex has been working with the Queanbeyan Kangaroo’s RLFC for the 2014 season and will be completing the Sports Level 1 course at the end of the year.

Kate Da SilvaKate Da Silva-Physiotherapist

Kate joined the Matrix Physiotherapy team in February 2014. Graduating from Charles Sturt University in 2012, Kate has also completed her Sports Level 1 and Pilates Matwork Level 1 courses. A keen athlete herself she has been involved with ACT Basketball as a junior, played netball in the Ovens and Murray League, and recently taken up Triathlons. Kate’s professional interests include sports injury rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and Pilates. Kate is passionate about Netball and Basketball and has a keen eye for sports specific rehabilitation and agility training.

Dan MannixDan Mannix-Physiotherapist

Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Canberra in 2011 before going on to complete his Masters of Physiotherapy in mid 2014, again at the University of Canberra. Dan possesses a keen interest in rehabilitation from all injuries, and is committed to upholding the high standard of professional development present at Matrix physiotherapy. Dan also holds a high level of interest in wide variety of sports, particularly Rugby Union, which he plays for the Gungahlin Eagles in the local John I Dent cup.

Kylie Website PhotoKylie Squire-Practice Manager

Kylie joined Matrix Physiotherapy and Sports Clinic in January 2009.  Kylie has completed a Bachelor of Business Management and has had various roles in medical administration. She is now the practice manager for Matrix.  Kylie’s fitness goals have been modified over the past 6 years due to two knee reconstructions, however she continues to attend the gym to remain healthy.  Kylie is mum to Lachlan, Ellen and Kate and is now following them through gymnastics, AFL, swimming, dance and netball – probably generating more business for Matrix in the long term. Kylie is the friendly face of Matrix and is available Monday to Thursday to assist our patients and attend to enquiries.

Lisa joined Matrix Physiotherapy in July 2012. She is a former Professional Tennis Player and is a keen AFL supporter who has been volunteering with the Queanbeyan Tigers Football Club for several years. She is also a qualified tennis coach and has managed ACT Junior State Teams in the past 10 years. Lisa is a mum to Caitlin and Duane and both her kids are heavily involved with sport through soccer, tennis and hockey. You will see Lisa’s friendly face at the reception Monday to Friday.

Georgina WebsiteGeorgina Stokehill-Receptionist

Georgina moved over from Boorowa to join the Matrix Team as a receptionist in February 2014.  Georgina comes from a family of five, grew up on a farm and enjoys the outdoors.  She enjoys horse riding and a social game of basketball, netball and touch. You will see Georgina’s friendly face at the front desk of Matrix in the Focal Point Arcade.
