Dan is the Principal Physiotherapist and co-director of Matrix. Since the day we launched, he’s been one of the driving forces behind our success. His lifelong obsession with competitive sports and injury management has taken him to some exciting places. Dan has worked as a physio for various teams in AFL, MMA, and rugby league, including the ACT Brumbies.

Jonathon has been involved with rugby union for many years, at everything from grassroots local teams to elite competition. In his professional life, he’s worked in emergency departments, trauma rehab, and orthopaedics. Jono looks after our mountain-biking clients because, as a competitive rider himself, he understands what the sport demands.

Amanda has returned to Matrix after a two-year sabbatical in the UK, where she discovered her passion for yoga and pilates. She now incorporates these art forms into her clinical exercise classes. Outside of work, you’ll probably find Amanda hammering a squash ball or taking part in a fitness bootcamp.

Will is our resident football fanatic (the European kind). He’s played representative soccer both here in Australia and overseas, and he sees absolutely nothing wrong with getting up at 3am to watch the English Premier League.

By day, Matt Tran is a superstar physio. By night, he’s a certified gym junkie. He’s been involved in the local fitness industry for years. When he’s not pumping iron himself, Matt provides medical support to professional bodybuilders.

David is a multi-talented individual who combines his love of sport with a deep expertise in physiotherapy. He’s played softball at an elite level and continues to pursue his obsession with hockey. Before joining Matrix, David honed his craft on the NSW South Coast.

Ben knows what it takes to play footy at the highest level. Formerly a professional rugby player in the UK, he now uses his skills and expertise to support the next generation of Australian talent. His resume includes stints with the Junior Wallabies and ACT Brumbies.

Shea-Cara is a seasoned long-distance runner with many competitions under her belt. Before joining Matrix, she worked with fellow runners to enhance their performance. A passionate advocate for women in sport, Shea-Cara previously served as Team Physiotherapist to the women’s squad at the ACT Brumbies.

Paddy has spent the past decade helping people improve their physical fitness. He started his career as a personal trainer before joining the ACT Brumbies as a strength and conditioning coach. He now brings his wealth of insight and experience to his new role at Matrix.
